The word "average" means that some families receive their first announcement before the listed number of months, and some receive their first announcement after the listed number of months.

* The wait times in this chart (updated weekly) are simply an estimate based on historical data and never meant to imply a guaranteed length of time.
The information in this chart is updated weekly.
The time range given is the AVERAGE historical wait time an adoptive family is waiting from the time they place their deposit until they receive their first announcement from our Matching Team.
The wait times are only an estimate based on historical data, and not a guarantee.
The wait times listed take into account the time our adoptive families are waiting (demand) as well as the puppies we anticipate from our family network of breeders (supply).
This chart is the most current and updated information we have for you to answer the question, “Where am I on the waitlist?” Most of our families are on more than one breed’s waitlist and their decisions directly affect your wait time. Giving you a time range is the most accurate estimate we can provide.
We are not a puppy mill, so do not have a required breeding schedule for our network of family breeders. They are given the freedom to breed their privately owned family pet when the timing is best for them.
If a family in our breeding network experiences Covid (as many have this year), they typically have decided not to breed their pet during that heat cycle. This means that they must wait until 6 months later at their pet’s next heat cycle to breed her. We want each litter to be planned for and wanted, but this directly affects your wait time.
Our puppies are family-raised, so we do not have an endless supply.
We match our adoptive families to their puppies by deposit date to be fair to everyone.
If you’re open to a road trip or using our Delivery Services (https://www.crockettdoodles.com/delivery-pickup ) then choosing “Any Location” on your account preferences will allow you to receive announcements from all of our families.
You need to decide which of these is your priority: adopting ASAP or adopting exactly the pup you want.
You are welcome to change your account preferences at any time for any reason in your account and it will not change your deposit date.
